A lucky player from Mpumalanga is still holding on to a R1, 322 million LOTTO Plus ticket that is due to expire next Thursday.

The ticket which qualified for the draw of the 29th of April 2009 matched the following six winning numbers: 2, 30, 38, 41, 43 and 45.

National Lottery Operator Gidani spokesperson Thembi Tulwana appealed to players to validate all unclaimed tickets to avoid losing out on life-enhancing amounts.

“In particular, we urge the Mpumalanga players to meticulously check through their tickets as the ticket of April 29 2009 is about to expire.

“The ticket has remained unclaimed for almost a year and the player has until the end of business on Thursday to claim the Jackpot, said Tulwana.

She urged players to carefully check their tickets regularly to avoid losing out on winnings.

“Players are reminded that they have 365 days to claim their jackpot prize from the day they win, failing which such monies will be forfeited,” said Tulwana.
